Starrett Test Indicator
"American Made" light weight test indicators by one of America's original gage manufacturers. They're about as American as hot dogs and apple pie. But, they seem to be hard to find. So hard, in fact, that they aren't even featured on Starrett's store page. We might well assume that production has discontinued in favor of the foreign sourced model.

Not all Starrett Indicators are "American Made" and the lower price is usually a tip-off. Starrett Model 3808A is such an example. (If there is no country of origin printed on the dial, then they are made in China.) If you are a die-hard Starrett fan but your budget doesn't allow for the higher-end models, or you simply can't find them, then you may very well wish to take a look at this offering.
