Made in Switzerland by Microtest. These Slotmaster gages have been sold with a Compac dial indicator for many decades and many users mistakenly thought the gage was made by Compac. Microtest has stopped using the Compac name on the indicator and substituted it with one of their own. The Slotmaster was originally sold by Alina, subsequently offered in the SPI catalog for many years. It has recently been removed as SPI has begun to focus on Asian products. If your old Slotmaster has the Compac dial indicator, be advised that parts for the indicator may no longer be available. However, you can easily replace the entire indicator with the new model Microtest indicator. Refer to the Replacement Parts below. We are pleased to be able to offer you the genuine item.
