Tesa - Etalon - Interapid - B&S
If you have been directed to this page in order to locate parts prices, please accept our apologies. We are in the process of revising our parts lists. You are welcome to send an email request.
To place an order: refer to separate parts lists. These parts are normally in stock at Long Island Indicator Service. All parts are made in Switzerland unless otherwise noted.
We can also provide professional repair service for your Etalon, Tesa, Interapid or Brown & Sharpe micrometers, calipers, intrimiks, bore gages and indicators.
Most of these parts require experience for installation and many of them require specialty repair tools as well. We make no claims otherwise.A selection of tools is displayed on page 31.
It is common practice to periodically run an indicator through a de-magnetizer. Residual magnetism can cause a gage to stick at times, especially if the indicators are used around sources of magnetic fields (spinning metal, for instance). Place the indicator inside the opening, press the power button, and pull out slowly for about 8 inches. If your indicator contains magnetizable metal, you will feel a buzzing and resistance as you pull out.
