syn. R. 'Kordes Robusta'; ARS 9.5; 1979; Vigorous, stiff-growing, shrub rugosa rose with prickly stems and leathery, dark green leaves. Clusters of cupped, single, wine-red flowers, 2.5" across, with wavy-margined petals are produced from spring to autumn; bred to be winter hardy in Northern Europe; strong clove-scent; dense shrub with numerous, ferocious thorns; disease resistant
