Anemone tomentosa 'Robustissima'

No.411

August 29, 2003

Homely, asymmetrical soft pink single flowers rising on dark stems. Quick to wilt if the soil dries out in summer. It will spread into nearby plants after a few years but is easy to manage. The 36" tall flower stalks don't need staking but have a casual look about them. It's a "happy" flower whose personality makes up for its looks. Blooms for 3-4 weeks.
